Jingle Bells
Dashing through the snow,
In a one-horse open sleigh,
Over the fields we go,
Laughing all the way.
Bells on bob-tails ring,
Making spirits bright,
What fun it is to ride
And sing a sleighing song tonight.

Chorus:
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way!
O what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh.
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way!
O what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh.

2
A day or two ago, I thought I'd take a ride
And soon Miss Fanny Bright, was seated by my side;
The horse was lean and lank, misfortune seemed his lot;
He got into a drifted bank and we got upset

3
A day or two ago, the story I must tell
I went out on the snow, and on my back I fell;
A gent was riding by, in a one-horse open sleigh
He laughed as there I sprawling lie but quickly drove away

4
Now the ground is white, go it while you're young
Take the girls tonight, and sing this sleighing song;
Just get a bob-tailed bay, two-forty as his speed
Hitch him to an open sleigh and crack! you'll take the lead

English Proverbs on Health
Good health is above wealth.
Health is not valued till sickness comes.
An apple a day keeps the doctor away.
Prevention is better than cure.
Eat to live, not live to eat.
Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.
The less you eat, the longer you live.
You are what you eat.

A smile is an unexpensive way to improve your looks.
To get angry is to punish yourself with other people’s mistakes.
Seven days without exercise makes one weak.
Eat well, be active, feel good about yourself.
Tri-colour meal is a good deal.

How to Give Advice

The arrow and the song (Henry Longfellow)
Мария Напреева
I shot an arrow into the air
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For, so swiftly it flew, the sight
Could not follow it in its flight.

I breathed a song into the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where;
For who has sight to keen and strong,
That it can follow the flight of song?

Long, long afterwards, in oak
I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end.
I found again in the heat of a friend

Ways to Cheer Up a Friend (By: Lisa Bower)

When a friend is in pain, it's only natural to want to cheer them up. Friends can be the crutch people need to get through a rough patch in their lives. After all, when you're upset, it helps to know there is at least one person in the world who is there when you need to cheer up.
Don't underestimate the power of words. When someone is having a bad day, just calling to check up on them or giving a compliment can make someone's whole day that much better. Try sending your friend a short e-mail or slipping a thoughtful card into their pocket.
You can also give your friend a small gift. You don't have to break the bank to cheer your friend up, but giving them a book, a movie or even a meal can make all the difference when they are sad. Think about your friend's interests when choosing a gift. If they have a sweet tooth, consider sending them cookies. If your friend loves musicals, consider giving them the movie version of a performance or a soundtrack. You can't be with your friend around the clock, but a small gift will occupy their time and will remind your friend that you care.
Make sure to get your friend out of the house. Don't let them grump around their home all day long. Instead, make plans with them, especially on important dates linked to their unhappiness. For example, if they're suffering from a breakup, go out with them on an anniversary. If your friend doesn't want to leave the house, consider staying in and watching a film or cooking a meal together. Staying active is the best way to avoid depression, and, if you are around to motivate your friend into action, you will help cheer up your friend.
Check in on your friend from time to time. They may not want to bother you, but, if you call and ask how they're doing, it can make all the difference. Stay in contact with your friend as much as possible.

Why Don't I Have Any Friends (By: Minnie Chatterfield)

Young or old, rich or poor, we all seem to desire friendship. Whether it's someone with whom to share a laugh or cry, it is part of human nature to seek out people with whom to share our lives. For some, making friends comes easily; they have dozens of friends and a social calendar that is overflowing. Other people are satisfied with having one or two good friends who last their whole lives. Still others yearn for friendship but seem unable to make that connection that turns a stranger into a friend. If you find yourself asking the question, “Why don’t I have any friends?” you may find the answer is simpler than you think.

Making friends through activities

Sometimes it is as simple as learning where to find friends. You are never going to find a BFF (best friend forever) by sitting at home. You need to find out where to meet people with interests similar to your own. The best way to start a friendship is to find something in common. If you belong to a religion but have not been attending services, going to church can be a great place to make a new friend, especially if you get involved with activities or clubs within the church. If you are athletic, try joining a running or biking club. If you need to take off a few pounds, join a weight loss club. If you like to do charitable works, try volunteering for a local cause. Great friends can be made while picking up trash to clean up your local park or river or feeding the homeless at a soup kitchen.

Be open

Some of us are so closed off or in such a hurry that we deny ourselves many opportunities to make friends. Instead of picking up your child from school in your car, try walking and taking the time to talk with the other parents waiting out front. You already have something in common—your kids—and it is a great opportunity to make a friend in your neighborhood. It may be difficult at first because you are the newcomer, but if you keep coming back and keep yourself open to the conversation, it will not take long for you to be included. The same goes for the working world. Instead of eating your lunch at your desk or going out to eat by yourself, try hanging out in the lunchroom. It may feel awkward at first, but in no time you will be laughing, sharing stories, and making new friends.

Be a good friend

There is a sweet riddle kids tell. “Question: What is the best vitamin for making friends? Answer: B1.” Children seem to know naturally how to make friends. You share your snack, call on your friends to play, and never say anything bad about your best friend. Too often, as adults we need to be reminded of this. For a strong friendship, we need to share our thoughts and feelings with each other, to be able to be counted on when a friend needs help, and to be loyal above all else. For so many people, the reason they have no friends is because they are not able to be a good friend. Friendship is a two-way street, and we must remember it is more important to listen than to be listened to.

For more tips on making friends or finding reasons why you may not have any, the Friendship Doctor has a lot of good advice when it comes to making, keeping, and losing friends. Remember, though, having one very good pal is far superior to having tons of superficial acquaintances.

About Friendship (Animation)

A friend in need is a friend indeed.
A man is known by the company he keeps.
Friendship is a plant which one must often water.
Friendship is love with understanding.
Friendship is the perfection of love.
Frindship is not to be bought at a fair.
Friendship, the older it grows, the stronger it is.

C'mon, c'mon, best friend
We all need a best friend, a best friend
I remember when we was young
Playing pool after school, keeping it cool
People say we were the troublesome two
I know the girls like me and you
I can never forget the times you've covered my back
You helped me out and cut me slack
There was nothin' you'd never do
It's all about me and you
You're my brother, you're my sister
We'll stick together
No matter what, no matter what
Best friend, never gonna let you down
Best friend, always gonna be around
You know, whatever life puts you through
I'll be there for you
We all need a best friend, to understand
A best friend, to take your hand
You know, whatever life puts you through
I'll be there for you

You remember the days when we would
Kick back, lay back
We'd be chillin' with the ladies
Those times were the greatest
So don't worry about a thing my friend
Cos you can count on me, thick and thin
Cos I'll be there right till the end, till the end
